Bruce Hornecker became a certified open water diver in November 2002 after taking a discover scuba class while on vacation in St. Thomas. Upon returning home from vacation, bruce immediately signed up and completed his open water scuba training. In the summer of 2003, Bruce began diving regualarly with the divers of Treasure COve and that iss when he really became interested in scuba diving. He completed his Advandced Open Water and other recreational certifications and entered the leadership program with SSI as a Dive Control Specialist and ultimately continued on to become and Advanced Open Water Instructor.

Bruce now has over 500 dives. He enjoys being an instructor which allows him to share his love of the underwater world with people as they begin their personal scuba journeys. Bruce has visited remote dive destinations such Key Largo, Aruba, St. Thomas, Cayman Brac, Bonaire, Cozumel, Belize and Bahamas to name a few. His favorite destinations is Cayman Brac where he was certified as an Open Water Instructor.

Bruce can be found many weekends in the summer hangin' out at Dutch Springs just going for a tour or running a specialty class.
