Susan Cohen first began diving in 2002 after her husband Aaron (another Treasure Cove Instructor) booked the family on a group diving trip to Cozumel.  After deciding she didn’t want to miss out on the fun,  she signed up for her Open Water scuba certification, completed her pool and academic training in New Jersey and finished her certification on the trip in Cozumel.  Immediately upon returning to New Jersey, she obtained her Advanced Open Water certification.  She also received her Dry Suit certification so she would be warm while diving locally.

In 2003, Susan received her Rescue Diver certification and in 2004, she became a Dive Master.  Susan is also a First Aid and CPR Instructor.  Susan enjoys taking dive trips with her friends and family, and  has been on dive trips to the Bahamas, Bonaire, Curacao, Grand Cayman, Grenada and Mexico.

Susan particularly enjoys the fact that “diving has introduced her to so many interesting places and people who have become friends.”
