Having wanted to dive since he was a youngster, Dominic began diving in 1998.  A couple of his close friends had just finished taking the Open Water course and had  such a great time that Dominic couldn't wait any longer and signed up to get his Open Water certification.  Dominic immediately fell in love with the sport of diving and being underwater.  He continued his diver education right away, quickly getting  his Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Master Diver certifications.  In 2007, Dominic completed the Dive Control Specialist program and now works with Treasure Cove Divers' open water program to share his passion for diving with new divers.

Dominic is also an avid local diver.  He can be found year round diving out at Dutch Springs, at the Shark River inlet or on a New Jersey charter dive boat diving the Atlantic ocean.  Dominic has also participated in dive trips to the St. Lawrence Seaway in Canada, the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Florida, Mexico, Honduras, Belize, where he dove the Blue Hole, and many more.  Dominic has logged over 300 dives since 1998, averaging more than 30 dives per year.

One of Dominic's most exciting dive experiences was on the Treasure Cove trip to Belize in 2009 where he had the opportunity to be up close and personal with the reef sharks at the Hol Chan Marine Reserve.  You can see him pictured above petting his new found friends of the underwater world.
