IANTD Trimix Diver Program

The IANTD Trimix Diver program is dedicated to those individuals already involved in deep diving activities.  The Trimix course is not designed to be used as an enticement to divers who are content to remain in normal recreational or Nitrox diving limits.  Trimix affords a safer method for deep water exploration for divers who must dive deep or perform with a clear head in intermediate depths. This is a program for existing deep divers that may wish to explore deep wrecks such as the Andrea Doria, U-869,Carolina, Roy Jodrey, and many others.  The IANTD Trimix program establishes the need to be a self-sufficient diver while conducting deep and task loaded dives. 

 

Prerequisites:          IANTD Technical or Normoxic Trimix Diver

                                      200 Logged Dives

                                      25 Dives between 140 fsw and 200 fsw

 

Program Content:   240 Mins. Min. of OW Bottom Time over 4 Dives

                                       2 Dives between 165 fsw and 300 fsw

                                       1 Dive must be deeper than 200 fsw

 

                   Andrea Doria Rests in over 250 fsw
